The requirement
In December 2023 we saw an article in the EDP which described the terrible situation many Hickling residents were facing. They had been without their household toilets since Storm Babet in October, and without an end date in sight. The residents were having to use public toilets and their local pub’s facilities, come rain or shine, day and night. With Christmas approaching we wanted to help, so we contacted the EDP who eventually put us in touch with one resident who was still in urgent need.
The solution
We supplied one toilet to Hickling residents Mr and Mrs Wells, with next day delivery and positioned it adjacent to their house.
They had guests arriving for Christmas and were extremely grateful to have a fully functioning toilet.
The toilet was in situ and we serviced it weekly until it was finally removed in February.
